The Bentons eat lots of tacos, we're talking at least 2x a week. Taco Tuesday for dinner every week and once or twice a week for lunch. They are a crowd pleaser and we usually always have the ingredients on hand.

Now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with buying taco mix. I will never judge you for taking a short cut, do what you gotta. Since we go through so many tacos it is just way easier for me to have a jar of taco mix made up at all times.

It is about 3-4 tablespoons of seasoning per pound of meat. You can always add more if you like more flavor, we certainly do.

Ingredients

4 Tbs chili powder

3 Tbs Paprika

2 Tbs cumin

1 tsp dried oregano

1 Tbs onion powder

1 Tbs onion powder

1 Tbs dry mustard

1 tsp salt

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp cayenne

put all in a pint size jar and stir to combine and then shake. You can keep in your pantry for 6 months or keep in the freezer for basically forever. Add more as you need it to keep the jar full.

Make delicious turkey tacos and try it out! *Also see taco Stuffed tomatoes/avocados*
