I am a coffee fanatic.
iced, cold brewed, straight black, with creamer, you name it, I’ll drink it.
A couple years ago my husband bought me the best thing ever... the Ninja Hot and Cold Brewed System. I can froth cream, make single cups, iced coffee, teas, specialty drinks, pretty much anything.
Tonight I wanted to try a coffee I hadn’t before and stumbled across this one. Oh my gosh is it delicious!!!
Not for those who like an overly sweet coffee drink, but if you’re a real coffee adventurer, definitely worth giving it a try.
If you do not have the Ninja that is okay (highly recommend it though, just because they are amazing)
WHAT YOU NEED
Ground coffee.. any kind but light roast. Need a more robust medium-medium dark.
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 cayenne powder
1 tsp confectioners sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream
Use the amount of ground for your pot that you would making a half pot of coffee. If you can make it a richer or stronger brew with your pot do so, if not add 1/2 to a scoop more than normal for half a pot calls for. In with the grounds add the cinnamon, cayenne and chili powder. Stir them about so it is evenly distribute.
brew the coffee.
While the coffee brews combine heavy cream, cocoa and confectioners sugar. Whisk by hand or with electric mixer until you have soft peaks.
When coffee is done pour into a coffee mug and top with a dollop of the whipped cream.
Truly delicious
