These simple, yet delicious bites are the perfect in every way!

Grilled steak is great, but it can get kind of boring. ..especially if it is an almost every weekend meal like in my house.

Just because a steak is most commonly known for being grilled and served as is, does not mean that is the only option. People get stuck in ruts, but all you have to do is nudge and open their minds to new things.

When it comes to steak for me personally I am a less is more person. I like a ton of salt on my steak (beef LOVES salt) and just a nice grill or a quick cook in a super hot iron skillet. Black pepper also goes fabulously with steak, so here we have.. Salt and pepper steaks bites.

You can use any steak you have or find for this. We usually use NY strips for all our steak eating. It is going to be cubed and cooked fast, so it should stay pretty tender no matter the cut.

Ingredients

2-3 NY strips

1/2 stick butter

1 Tbs salt

1 Tbs black pepper (fresh ground if you ave it, PLEASE)

Directions

Cute steak into cubes. Not too small, but bite sized.

Season with salt and pepper. Add steak to a smoking hot iron skillet or griddle. Add butter in and cook for 2 minutes for more rare- med rare, 3-4 for medium to well.

You can add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce for more depth if you like. Just add at the end of cooking before removing from the skillet.

It is THAT SIMPLE and you will absolutely love them.
